I'm Tris Ambrey, I’m a travel elopement photographer rooted in the wild beauty of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and Oregon, specializing in cinematic photos, heartfelt videos, and the timeless artistry of 35mm film. My work is deeply inspired by nature and the sacred connections we share, blending intentional storytelling with the untamed landscapes where your love unfolds.

As a mom to three—including my adventurous 4-year-old with cerebral palsy—I’ve learned to embrace life’s beautiful chaos and celebrate every meaningful moment. My family and the outdoors are my greatest teachers, grounding me in compassion and creativity. Whether hiking along Lake Superior’s rugged cliffs or exchanging vows in Oregon’s misty forests, I bring a gentle, holistic approach to capturing your day.
